NeonGlitch86

NeonGlitch86 is a 3D artist and game developer who builds virtual spaces for crypto art. He trained in game art and design and spent roughly fifteen years inside the video game industry, working at small indie studios and larger companies before returning to a small team. He describes himself as a video game programmer by day and a maker of 3D multiverse environments by night. He started minting NFTs in 2020 while working from home during the pandemic, and moved into world building after seeing a Mona build-a-thon challenge and realising his game development skills carried straight over to Web3. His style leans on the movies and games he grew up with: science fiction, hard surface modelling, and future tech design language. Inside the Mona community he is known for spaces such as Neon City, Neon City Streets, Power of the Pigeon, the Temple of Crypto Art, the Broadside Rave Bunker, and the XCOPY Bar. Away from Mona he ships flat and animated work through Manifold, OpenSea, and objkt, and he has collaborated with Basileus, Eclectic Method, XCOPY, and the Cult of Crypto Art Crew. In 2023 he released GRIFT DISTRICT, a wide cyberpunk street scene tied to the Grifters world, and he has continued to build on Hyperfy and Nifty Island.

He models and renders cyberpunk environments, hard surface props, and character helmets, then ships them as both flat editions and walkable 3D spaces. Named work includes GRIFT DISTRICT, GRIFTERINOS, ETH9000, the NG86 Tactical Helmets, and the RELICS and MUTATIO drops released under VORTEX. On Tezos he has posted looping 3D animation pieces such as GM Need Coffee and Neon Skelly. His metaverse spaces on Mona, oncyber, and Hyperfy are used by other artists to show their own collections.
