Astram (Collector’s Corner)

Astram runs Collector's Corner, a media operation built around generative and digital art collecting. He posts as Astam, sometimes signing off as Dr. Pri, and the project spans a podcast, a free weekly newsletter called Cornering The Market, regular Twitter Spaces and a YouTube channel. The podcast passed 120 episodes between 2022 and 2024 and runs in several formats: Cornering The Market for market roundups, Into The Collection and Creator's Corner for long interviews with artists and collectors, and Release Reveals for walkthroughs of new drops with the artist. Guests have included Alejandro Cartagena with Fellowship, Deltasauce, Jon Wubbushi, Rick Crane and Rich Poole. The written work is closer to a trade sheet than to criticism: notable sales, floor moves, upcoming releases, and blunt read outs of which collections he rates and which he does not. Alongside the free tier he sells Collector's Corner Premium, aimed at serious collectors and art funds, and points people to his DMs for investor focused content. Outside of art he trained in medicine and writes a separate newsletter on preventive and longevity medicine, which he started after losing a parent to a preventable cancer. Astram does not make art. He covers it: a weekly generative art newsletter, a long form interview podcast, and live Spaces on the week's releases and sales. He collects and writes about generative and AI art, and he sells a premium research tier for collectors and funds who treat the market as an investment.
